NPC Battle! Lilac Valkyria VS Damson Incinerator

It was the end of classes, a trio gathered on the roof of a building. One of girl trio spoke.

-It's my turn now, let,s see what kind of newcomer I'll beat today.
-But you still haven't chosen your level bonus for getting to level 3, wouldn't it be better to choose it before?
-I'll be fine, remember that I could still hold a fight with a king!
You lost that one though, we all failed to beat them. That's why we can't lose anymore, I believe in you, Tenshi.

The world turned blue around the girl. but she was familiar to this. The girl was a first generation Linker, a veteran of fighting. She didn't even need to look to know where to press to access the matching list. Looking at the growing list of newcomers she smiled to herself. New people that she could fight with in the Utopia her friends and her were trying to achieve. But those Kings didn't see it the same way. Now because of her Legion Master's Final move the whole world had been reset, There wasn't any time to lose if those old kinds weren't uninstalled they would try to get in the way again...

Her eyes locked on a name, <<-Damson Incinerator->>. Feeling it was him who was to be her opponent she selected his name and pressed the duel button.

Turning into the light purple avatar, <<-Lilac Valkyria->> she looked at the world changing around, her friends vanishing, the sky changing color, The building turning into some kind of creature and insects roaming around.

-The Purgatory, huh? It's been a while since I last fought in this stage. Let's see, those insects around were harmful at the last I remembered.

She swung her Lance weapon at the floor, leaving a small mark.

-Hard to destroy as well, I'll need to farm my Killer Gauge on something else.

She then proceeds to the fire escape stairs while being cautious of the small creatures to get on a better ground for fighting.

Nare had been walking home from school, when the world suddenly turned the familiar blue Hue. His body transformed into a a dark red-purple. The aesthetic hooded cape formed on him and finally the sinister looking mask covers the face of the Avatar. The Flame Waker appeared in his hand and he swung it like a sword for a second.

The world around him turned into the Purgatory stage as previously described above.The battle message came up saying it was time to fight. His eyes trained to the health bars and the name appeared below the others Health.

"Huh...Lilac....must be a purple....This might be interesting."

He walked towards the direction the cursor pointed. It seemed like it leaded towards a large building a ways away from his position on the road. With weapon prepared, he went forward.

The Valkyria finally put her foot on the ground, the compass was showing the direction of the main road, but she wouldn't risk being right in plain sight. The color damson was unknown to her and when you don't know, dashing forward is often a bad idea. Turning ways, she went for the backyard of the building, Wanting to use the movements to find out the approximative location of her opponent more precisely.

While moving, she summons her second Enhanced Armament, "The World's Hope", a longsword which she uses to scratch the walls to gain a flimsy amount of KG.

Damson saw the cursor moving and began to go off the road, making his way towards the building. Something sickeningly squished under his foot and he felt an odd bit of pain. Lifting up his leg, he checked under his foot and round a squished poisonous bug. He looked around and wiped it off on the edge of rock.

"Dammit all. I need to keep my eyes open for those bugs..." He mumbled to himself.

He was nearing the building now, his eyes peeled for something to come out at him.

From what she could see, her opponent was either moving at high speeds or was really near. this would mean that he or she was more focused on close quarter combat...

Unequiping her weapon, the lance wielding avatar moves swiftly. The compass disappears, confirming her doubts on the nature of her opponent.

Preparing herself, she goes along the side of the building while keeping the covers of shadows. As soon her opponent would make a sound she would be able to attack him in a flash!

Damson saw the cursor suddenly disappear He stopped and looked around him, bringing his Flame Waker up in a sword-like stance. He hadn't been able to use it as a melee weapon yet, but he knew it was that kind of weapon as well. He crept forward, into the view of Lilac, ready to fight, but still unaware of Lilac's presence.

Her opponent was in sight, and in range. Valkyria slashed her weapon toward the enemy, shooting out a small blade of energy! Her opponent not knowing her emplacement, she was sure to gain surprise factor.

Turning around after shooting she retreats to the backyard.

The energy blade pierced into him from behind. Damson felt incredibly horrible pain shoot up from his back, causing him to stagger a bit from the surprise hit. He eyed his health in the corner of his vision. 25% of his health was taken out by that hit.

Damson turns around and sees the assailant running off. Angered by the sneak attack, he suddenly shouts his attack.

"Fire Shot!"

Four purple fireballs shot out of the Flame Waker and headed in Lilac's direction. 4 of the 16 teeth stopped glowing. Most likely not all of them will hit, but the fire could be pretty painful

It was already too late as Incinerator had fired his attack, she was turning the corner and got out of sight.

As she was about to turn, she heard her opponent yelling something about fire, with his name "Incinerator" she thought of it of her opponent using one of his attack to try and avenge himself for the sneaky hit she dealt him.

His bar had already decreased by a good 25% and her KG went up by approximatively 22%. It wasn't enough for her to use her special move but it was a nice step already. Her Armament's charges were at 3 due to the last attack.

Placing herself in the middle of the courtyard, she waited for her opponent to come at her.

The four shots hit the field at random places, scorching up a bit of the ground, hitting against a wall, and one of the seemed to kill a bug. Hi KG went up only a bit from that though, by 7%.

An internal smile crept on his lips as he chased after her. Just a little bit more.... He rounded the corner and found her standing in the court yard. The distance seemed to be many meters...but was it enough?

"Running away from a fight when you get a surprise hit...that seems a bit cowardly to me."

He walked slowly, moving a bit closer to her, then stopped abruptly getting only a few meters closer, still being a fair bit away from her.

Her opponent did came to face her, but didn't attack. She listened to his words with amusement and proceeded to answer.

-I wasn't fleeing from you, I was setting a convenient stage for a close quarter fight. But it looks like you do have some form of ranged attack as well. If you fight well you might even impress my friends up there.

Higher on the roof of the building you were both turning around stands two figures... A woman clad in bright red and another in pure yellow. Both are looking at you almost to the point you could almost feel their gazes piercing you...

The light purple woman in front of you adjusts her stance, ready to strike.

-Give it all you've got, I have more than enough experience to beat down some newcomer. Give me some challenge will you?

He could feel their gazes on him...but he also felt a tinge of hate run through him. They are looking down on me....as if they think they are better than me.... His grip tightens on his weapon.

"Hmph. I don't give a damn about impressing anyone. Especially people with superiority complexes. If you want my all so badly, I'll give it to you!!!!!"

He began running (well he thinks he is running...he has low AGI so...) in a wide circle around Lilac and pointed his Flame Waker at her.

"Fire Shot!"

Four more purple fire balls left the Waker and flew at her. Four more of the teeth faded, leaving only eight left bright. That is just enough. He thought to himself.

As her opponent ran, the girl dashed right at him. ( AGI: 50 )

Slashing one of the fireballs, she jumped toward him, the blade of her lance pointing right at him.

-Too bad, you might have missed a chance to join us.

She didn't really care about him, but increasing their own numbers would have been of help would their enemies gather. She would only have to get this boy's Burst points and proceed to another battle. She wanted to get stronger, stronger so she could make her own ideals shine and her wishes for the accelerated world true!

Her feelings, conveyed to her weapon. She activates it's ability and consumes 4 of it's charges to make her attack 1.2 times stronger!

-Scarlet Justice! Pierce!

As she speaks out her attack the blade of her weapon shines faintly.

(OOC: I considered that with your low AGI Valkyria would have closed in as you started firing.)

The sudden rushing attack hit him square in his chest. The pain flared through his entire body as he was flung backward.  He hit the ground a good bit away and rolled, causing 27% damage total, the pain incredible. When he stopped, he sat up and looked at his health.

HP: 45%
KG: 62%

A smile formed on his inner lips, his mask revealing nothing. The distance looked right and he stood up. He then held the Waker above his head, his KG meter decreased suddenly by 40%. The 8 remaining teeth grew dark as well.

"Pit Fire Incineration!"

A purple beam of light left the circle at the top and went into the ground near Lilac's feet. Suddenly, the ground around her darkened and began to crack. gushing out of the cracks an inferno of purple fire exploded forth, reaching up into the air.

(I will be honest, idk if this is okay, and Idk how to calculate the damage itself. My stats are in a spoiler in my signature and it is an AOE that lasts a few turns, causing 5% every turn within it. Tell me in a PM or skype if I should change it.

So the rumor is true....

Having put Damson in his watch list, Shadow was automatically brought here by the system. Shock and angerfilled him througthout the whole fight between the Incinerator and her lackey that doesn't seem to change at all. However, Shadow choose to watch as the fight unfold silently

Her attack having hit Incinerator, Valkyria adjusted her stance and dashed straight at him. Seeing his special bar faling, she jumped to her right, rolled on the ground and went to circle around him. Her Special bar was at the border of the amount needed for her own special move but using it right now wouldn't be of any help.

So instead.

-Summon Enhanced Armament. The World's Hope!

The weapon, creation of her hopes to get through a certain event appears in her hands!

-GOLDEN DESTRUCTION!

Using the sword as a projectile she yells out a fake technique name as she throws it toward the incinerator!

The AOE exploded in the spot Lilac was just at, but she had moved fast. The raging, circular inferno flared up and burned brightly. It would stay there for the next couple of turns.

Damson, surprised by her speed, took a step back trying to get away from her. A familiar squishing sound and feeling came and his foot slid forward. The sudden slide caused him to fall backward, the sword that was thrown at him only grazing up across his stomach, causing pain. 9% Damage was taken from the grazing.

An unmanly yell escaped his mouth.

"Uuwahhh!"

He fell onto his back and laid there flat. His KM had completely missed. He has not even hit her once. Was he really going to go down like this? He pulled his Flame Waker up and pulled the reloading mechcanism. All 16 teeth began glowing again.

The weapon thrown by the girl merely scrapped the opponent's armor... She would need to practice that move for future fights... The opponent was laying on the ground anyways, his special move burning away the field. Seeing this as an opportunity to finish things, she walks.

She walks toward her opponent, squashing a bug on her way, but she endures the pain and walks up to him, placing the tip of her weapon on his neck.

-I think this is my victory, don't you agree?

Leaving herself open for a counter attack she lets one of her hand off her weapon to extends it toward the fallen one in a friendly gesture while slightly moving away her weapon.

-You're still new at this aren't you, Incinerator?

This time, her tone of voice was more friendly and not threatening. It could be a trap, It could be a real gesture of friendly meaning. But apart from her friends on the top of the building, no one knew.

Damson looked at her, at their HP, then at the AOE he had created in a desperate attempt to try and score a major hit. He sighed, knowing that no matter what he did, there was no way he could win this. Accepting his own loss, he nodded to her.

"Yeah... I am. You obviously have won this duel, as nothing else I can do will make my victory. Don't get me wrong,  I've been in a few fights already. But still. it is really all new to me. Unfortunately....my <<Parent>> was....unable to teach me how to fight."

He keeps it at that for now, and reached for her outstretched hand. It seemed that if he played along with this, he'd be able to gather something from this loss. He didn't enjoy this kind of subdued act he was putting on, but as long as he keeps his cool, he'll be fine with this.

After helping you getting up, the girl takes a few step back then opens her menu.

-Let's see if there are other people watching us... if there is we should be kicking them since we don't want them to know what I'm gonna do with you. If you want to be able to get a bit more punch next time too. Just keep my two friends, Bliss and Sorceress in.

Although she is clearly keeping an eye on you, Valkyria goes through her menu.

Damson nods and goes through his Menu. He finds the name of one other person in the Gallery besides Bliss and Sorceress. Jonquil Shadow. He then used the Menu to kick him from the Duel. He looked back at Valkyria.

"Alright. I think that was everyone else. What was you wanted to talk about, that you didn't want others to know about?"

He was very curious as to what it was. He felt a bit guilty about kicking the guy, but it didn't matter to him that much anyway.

Confirming on her own side to kick the other member of the gallery Valkyria closes her menu.

-Your battle style is a bit similar to mine. A mix or mid-ranged and melee combat. your Killer move seems a bit weak for 1 on 1 battle but in a tag battle it could be destructive. So would you be willing to help us toward recreating our Legion, we would help you mastering your abilities and help you becoming a better fighter. It's not that we are desperate to find helping hands but our names are starting to get a bit too much known in a bad way and having some new people in our circle would be a good thing.

The two other avatars, sitting on the top of the building jump down landing at approximatively 15 meters from you and your opponent.

Damson looked to them and back to Valkyria. He had known for a while from his <<Parent>> that his avatar was not a Solo fighter. From the looks of these people, they knew exactly what they were doing and were powerful already. To help him master his Abilities......

"....Alright. I'll join you all. You seem to know exactly what you're doing, and this whole thing would be beneficial for all of us. I have no knowledge of whatever happened before, but it doesn't matter that much to me."

He said that with confidence. He may hate people with certain qualities, but he knew that a chance like this probably wouldn't happen a second time. A memory of the past started floating into his head, but he pushed it back. It was too painful right now.

-Nice, now I'll tell you of what we're planning to do in a moment. Me and Sorceress will invite a lot of linkers to a "Battle Royale". It will be a good occasion to gain a lot of burst points for many of the fighters around. And of course, some of our old enemies will be invited to take part in this fight and they will probably ally themselves to eliminate us, I'd like you to join our small group during this fight your abilities could be more than useful.

Extending her hand toward you for a hand shake Valkyria adds a few words.

-Not much time left, the battle will soon end via time out. No need for more violence.

Damson eyed the remaining time and nodded. He took her hand and gave it a firm shake.

"I'll look forward to the Royal. I will help in any way I can. Just, try not to throw me under the bus."

He leaves it at that, and the timer runs out to Zero. A big < Defeat > message appeared before him, meaning he lost. He wasn't even mad about it. He was logged out of the game and back to the real world. From there he walked home. All he had to do now was wait.
