Part 1: Trauma

An avatar in the “Accelerated World” is known to be the manifestation of its owner’s “Wishes” and “Traumas”.

“Traumas” can be explained in many ways. It could stem some someone’s lack of self-confidence, loss of someone or something dear to them, bullying, etc… The avatar will answer to its owner’s heart and views on the situation, granting them a “tool” to overcome their problems… in a figurative way. Someone with limited mobility might be granted an ability or equipment to travel farther than they ever could. Someone who was bullied might be granted an ability to escape or fight back.
The Second name of an avatar represents the trauma and the ability granted to the avatar. Those will be studied case by case.

Part 2: Color

While the Traumas are what mainly build the foundation of an avatar, the wishes one has in relation to said traumas are what give an avatar it’s coloration. Some people seek to Escape, others wish for the strength to face their problems, others simply wish things would change. Everyone had a different way to see things and two people would live the same event differently.

While it is impossible to represent everything, the colors try to be as general as possible in their meaning to allow some more flexibility.
Every color has their own way of dealing with things with some variation to them.
People with darker colors tend to obsession over their problems.
Light colored avatars tend to avoid their problems, like forgetting them.

Metal/Black/White Colored Avatar: Please discuss with an Admin beforehand. Those colors are more complicated and will not be allowed until an agreement is reached.

Blue -They want to face their problem head on.
Green -They believe their problems will go away if they’re patient enough to endure through.
Yellow -They dodge the subject, they would rather laugh about it.
Orange -They deny everything that doesn’t work for them.
Red -They’re the one that would like to run away and leave their problems behind.
Purple -Like a trapped animal, the moment they’re able to get their revenge, it doesn’t look good.

Part 3: Class

There is one last thing to know about avatars is that each has a class amongst seven.
You need to choose one from those listed below upon character creation. (Descriptions made by Subparman on Discord)

Assassin - Pure offensive power given form, the Assassin class relies on dishing out heavy damage to the enemy constantly, beating down foes to their cause quickly and painfully. A choice class for those who simply want to decimate everything in their path within the blink of an eye. However, Assassins are frequently wanting of more defensive skills and better ability handling, unable to defend themselves if some enemy breaks through their offensive front.

Warrior - With a high amount of defensive capabilities, the warrior is good at soaking up hits aimed at both themselves and others, making the Warrior class a good fit for those who would seek to be protectors and guardians. However, they are often lacking in offensive power and lose some skill proficiency for their ability to in turn withstand them.

Specialist - Relying on their plethora of powerful abilities, passive and activated, to pull them and their allies through in battle, Specialists are often found fighting in a variety of roles, depending on their special abilities. However, being so absorbed in mastering their abilities, Specialists are naturally less capable of dishing out direct damage and enduring it.

Generalist - Leaning neither this way nor that, the Generalist is a class that truly has a finger in every pie, possessing passable defensive skills, a satisfactory damage output and a moderate amount of proficiency with special abilities. Their capability to fulfil any role in a pinch makes them interesting friends and foes. However, though they may be a jack of all trades, they’re also the king of none, and a class specifically tailored to excel in one attribute will most often outmatch a Generalist in a head-on contest.

Breaker - The more durable big brother to the Assassin, the goal of a Breaker is simple; wear down any enemies they face with calculated and ceaseless onslaughts of damage, grinding down even the hardiest of foes with their balanced mix of offensive and defensive skills. Unfortunately, their ability to attune to special abilities is less than ideal due to a lack of needing them, making mastering them more difficult.

Destroyer - In a sentence, the Destroyer is the Assassin class on steroids; adding the mastery special abilities into their already devastatingly destructive arsenal, a Destroyer’s damage output potential is through the roof! Able to effortlessly obliterate enemies from all ranges while also utilizing a variety of abilities, ending up in a Destroyer’s sights is a good reason to panic. Unfortunately, the price for such power is that they are the very definitions of ‘Glass Cannons’, ironically being unable to withstand much enemy fire before they fall.

Frontliner - With a plethora of special abilities to access at any time and enough defenses to sit out attacks while they recharge or bid time until conditions are met, Frontliners make, as the name suggests, great frontline support units. Their mastery of abilities can be used defensively to buff and assist allies, or offensively, to periodically wreak havoc on enemies at a level comparable to an Assassin’s. Unfortunately, they rely overly on their abilities and tank-like health, leaving them nearly unable to retaliate against foes in close combat.

Bruiser - Relentless fighters, able to take damage and to deal it just as well. Those persistent fighters are sure to be able to handle their own whenever it comes to defending or attacking.

Trickster - Offense and Special Abilities, those are what a trickster is best at doing. Often seen using their abilities to supplement their good offensive abilities, Tricksters are great when on the offense but terrible when it comes to defending themselves, their armors are like paper.

Blaster - Those guys have powerful abilities, and the defense to make sure they're able to use it. They are usually not afraid to enter the fray to unleash their powers if they have to. Their small downside is that they tend to not hit hard when their abilities are down.

Part 4: Stats

How do these attributes affect my avatar?

Noun – The noun is what defines the avatar’s unique ability.
Color – An Avatar’s Color defines their main attributes.
Class – Classes are what defines how an avatar is meant to fight, in complement to their color.

And how do these Attributes work?

First, let’s review what the main Attributes are and what they mean.
Power: The Avatar’s raw Power output, the more one has, the more damage they can dish out.
Resistance: The Avatar’s capacity to endure damage.
Ability: Seemingly useless at first, this Attribute influences the overall power of the abilities of an avatar.

Note: The Unique Ability may or may not be an Enhanced Armament. It is up to the player to choose for himself.

Alright, but colors and classes influence those attributes, how?

Just look at the Table below.

For Colors:
Blue - Power= +1 /Resistance= +1 /Ability= 0
Green - Power= 0 /Resistance= +2 /Ability= 0
Yellow - Power= 0 /Resistance= 0 /Ability= +2
Orange - Power= +1 /Resistance= 0 /Ability= +1
Red - Power= +2 /Resistance= +0 /Ability= +0
Purple - Power= +3 /Resistance= -1 /Ability= +0

For Classes:
Assassin - Power= +4 /Resistance= +1 /Ability= +1
Warrior - Power= +1 /Resistance= +4 /Ability= +1
Specialist - Power= +1 /Resistance= +1 /Ability= +4
Generalist – Power= +2 /Resistance= +2 /Ability= +2
Breaker – Power= +3 /Resistance= +2 /Ability= 1
Destroyer – Power= +3 /Resistance= +1 /Ability= +2
Frontliner – Power= +1 /Resistance= +3 /Ability= +2
Buster – Power= +2 /Resistance= +3 /Ability= +1
Trickster – Power= +2 /Resistance= +0 /Ability= +3
Blaster – Power= +0 /Resistance= +2 /Ability= +3

Part 5: Killer Moves And Level Ups

At each level, including level 1, the players will be given a choice between 4 different upgrades.

Those Upgrades will vary depending on Color, Class & Current Level.

Stats. They're there, but...

What do they do?

To make it simple, every stat point serves as a multiplier to your damaging strength, your defensive endurance & your abilities' potential.

To make it simple:

Every point in Power and Resistance is worth around 5%.

So for someone with a resistance stat of 3 taking a hit from a power of 5 would receive around 10% of damage.

What is someone takes a hit while having higher resistance?
If the Resistance stat of the defender is 2 over the attacker's Power, there is no damage.

Else, The damage will be minimal, in the ranges of 1 to 4% of the defender's HP.

The Special Gauge, how does it work?

You gain 1 + (0.2 * Ability) of Special Gauge for every point of damage you inflict.

You gain 2 + (0.4 * Ability) for every point of damage you take.

You can also spend your "turn" destroying the stage, which will give you an increase depending on the stage.

Final note:

The system will always need to be updated. Values will be changed, and Characters might receive Buff / Nerfs as needed.
