Lightning Gadget Vs. Madras Horror

Gadget logged into the accelerated world but this time he landed in some thick bush that was bordering a circular clearing. You could only see the clearing clearly but nothing really beyond it.

Gadget moaned in annoyance "I don't mind plants but somebody get me a weed eater!" He muttered

[Nakara]

Masaru was sitting at home studying when the world around him suddenly changed. The environment around him shifted from his house to a thick forest and the text "Here Comes A New Challenger!!" flashed in front of him. For a moment Masaru was startled by the sudden change in his environment but quickly recalled that this was a result of the new program he installed "Brain Burst." He noticed two large gauges appear at the top of his vision one labeled "Madras Horror" and the other labeled "Lightning Gadget." From his instructional period with his parent Iridium Berserker Masaru knew that Madras Horror referred to his own avatar and Lightning Gadget was his opponent who would be somewhere on the map.

Noting that his appearance had changed to that of his duel avatar Madras Horror recalled the next thing that his parent had taught him, that destroying the environment can be done to fill a players special gauge. He also recalled that his avatar had two special moves a passive "Horrific Presence" which continually used the gauge to create an illusion around him and an active "Snare" which could be used to trap an enemy for a short time. With this in mind Madras horror kicked down a few small plants around him beginning to fill up his special gauge. Remembering the final point his parent had told him Madras Horror looked up to see his compass pointing to the other side of a clearing a short ways away from him. "Well might as well see who I'm fighting," Madras Horror said as he started to make his way towards the clearing.

Gadget held his position he wasn't sure what color Madras was but Horror suggested the guy had the ability to scare people which if Gadget played his cards right. He could scare the horrors away. He started working on the bushes behind him so that his cover wasn't dropped but he could still get KG

Madras Horror steadily made his way up to the edge of the clearing destroying some of the foliage on his way for the killer move gauge bonus. As he approached the edge of the clearing he noticed that his opponent was not in it. Seeing this Madras Horror hesitated unsure of whether or not he should go in as it could be a trap. After a moment of debating with himself Madras Horror decided that rather than entering the clearing he would call out to his opponent to see if he could draw him out into the clearing.

"Hey is there anyone over there I'm new at the game and not really sure whats going on," Madras Horror called out. While this was not entirely true Madras Horror figured it would give him a better chance of catching his opponent off guard, an advantage he figured would be important since he really was new.

Gadget heard his opponent call out to him.

"Another new player huh..." Gadget called out "Forgive me for not coming out and greeting you face to face. You kinda caught me at a bad time." He shifted slightly to sit down in the bush "Gadgets as limbs"

He whispered his ability name and broke down into his Gadget parts and his parts separated his left foot and hand going one way and the right foot and hand going the other direction but keeping hidden within the bushes and his two arms destroying more plants for KG. Noise could be heard as the body parts

"But anyways welcome to the Accelerated World, Madras Horror."

Madras Horror sighed as he saw his opponent did not come out. "Well I guess I didn't really expect much to begin with," Madras Horror thought. Madras Horror then knocked over a small tree next to him for the killer move gauge gain and whispered "Horrific Presence," activating his passive ability. He then proceeded to move into the center of the clearing hopping it would raise his chances of being seen.

"Thank you for the welcome, but why don't you come out here so we can talk?" Madras Horror said. He didn't expect his opponent to come out now but he didn't have any better idea for what to do.

Gadget hummed "alright I'm coming out." He causally hopped his head to just outside of the bush. "For some reason I can't seem to get a head in this game. You have any idea why?" He asked then looked at Horror and made a face at what he saw "uh... hey man what's with the bugs all over ya."

His Arms and other body parts continued to gather KG even though the head was affected his body parts were not.

Seeing Gadget come out Madras Horror doubted his eyes, how could his opponent be just a dismembered head? "No that's not right another illusion user maybe?" Madras Horror thought but quickly discarded that idea when he noticed his compass had disappeared as the head came closer. "So he's just a severed head then? Or maybe he has the ability to take off his own head for some reason?" Madras Horror thought to himself trying to figure out his opponents abilities.

"Mhmm you're going to ask me about that when you're just a head. Anyway I'm not really sure apparently its part of my avatar or something, my parent said it has something to do with a trauma I experienced before or something I don't really understand it though." Madras Horror replied to Gadget. Madras Horror then smashed a small rock to his side knowing that he would need to keep his killer move gauge high from this point on since his ability would use it up extremely rapidly.

Gadget saw the bugs turn into tentacles and decided he had enough "Excuse me as I look away..." He turned his head to the side to get Horror out of his vision. "uh... freaky ability... what type of trauma would cause that."

[Nakara]

Madras Horror was disappointed that his opponent had looked away from him but regardless this was the chance he needed to seize the initiative for this battle. "Who knows, but anyway we should probably get this battle started now, no?" Madras Horror said, though about halfway through the sentence he had already started charging at Gadget's head knowing that he was looking away and it would take him a considerable amount of time to realize what was happening. As he approached the head he brought back his foot aiming to punt the head far into the distance and hopefully destroy it. At the same time Madras Horror stopped using his ability as if this attack hit it would not be very effective from this point in the battle on.

Gadget said "indeed. I'll even give you..." He was punted into the thick plants. His head could not be destroyed by damage to the individual parts but the disorientation of being kicked did knock his mind off track as he landed about five meters from where he started. "The first hit..." He groaned as his eyes went bonkers. (HP: 20: KG: 35)

His parts were setup ready for action. They noted through the system connection that the head had taken the first blow. That was usually the requirement needed for action.

"When the opponent comes in range initiate body mob." Gadget thought to his parts. "Hands prepare taser attack when enough power is gathered and fire when ready and try for a double whammy finish."

[Nakara]

Madras Horror sighed, there was no sign of the head returning and his opponents health gauge had only dropped by 20%. "Looks like I have to go after him," Madras Horror mumbled as he set out to pursue the head. As he went into the woods Madras Horror knocked over a few small plants for the killer move gauge gain being sure to keep up his guard in case Gadget was planning an ambush. "Come out come out wherever you are Mr. Gadget," Madras called out to his opponent.

A rustle of leaves occurred as in his path two arm like limbs were pushed out of the bushes and knocked together creating a trip pole designed to catch someone foot in a trip and causing them to fall.

Madras horror felt unsure as he advanced through the forest making sure to strike the trees around him as he went to keep his killer move gauge rising. As he made his way forward he noticed a rustling sound and stopped to see two bright yellow arms come forward out of the bushes. Madras Horror had to wonder if his opponent seriously intended to trip him like that when he was a bright yellow color in the middle of a forest, needless to say it stuck out like a sore thumb. "Well I guess if he really wants me to step on him I'll oblige," Madras Horror thought to himself as he advanced towards Gadgets limbs acting like he hadn't noticed anything. Then as he was about to fall into Gadget's trap he suddenly stomped down on Gadget's arm attempting to crush it.

Gadget was well prepared for any action Horror took against his arms. The arms were KG fodder. If they were crushed by the fall or damaged by an attack. It would be an acceptable exchange because Gadget had a plan to deal quite a bit in countering. With the damage he takes from the arms being crushed and destroyed (0/15) (0/15) Gadget now has enough KG to use his best combo attack. The Double Taser. (HP: 50 KG: 65)

"ow!" Gadget called out "so you gonna crush my arms huh? Okay, My hands will deal with you Mr. Horror. Get him Boys, Double Taser"

From both sides of Horror at about 30 degrees from his direct sides and about 3 meters away from him, Gadget's two hands came out from behind the large trees they were hiding behind. They reared so that the wrists were holding the palms up and electricity glowed blue in the palm and several needle like probes attached to thin wires shot out of the fingerpads and were fired at Horror.

Madras Horror was caught completely off guard by Gadgets taser attack and took both blows full on. When they struck the shock caused Madras Horror to fall over and as he was falling he noticed Gadgets head in front of him. Seeing this Madras Horror saw his chance to make a try and seize victory he called out his killer move as he fell "Snare!" aiming to have the tentacle wrap around and crush Gadgets head. As his head hit the ground he looked towards one of gadgets hands and called his killer move again figuring even if Gadget did have some way to avoid the first one the second snare would ensure his eventual victory.

Gadget heard his opponent call out a name which Gadget assumed was a special move. Snare by definition was something hooking onto something else and grabbing it. Figuring his head was the main target, Gadget rolled his head to the side barely avoiding the bulk of a large tentacle that erupted out of the ground however the attack sent Gadget's head flying and crashing into a hard tree and he took 25% damage and his eyes went out of whack for a minute

The hand that the other tentacle was going for was pierced through taking fatal damage (0/15) and shattering.

However Gadget had a counter move setup, a secondary melee attack from a pair of very solid feet. They leapt from their hiding spots near Horror and went to do a double stomp right on his chest and head.

Madras Horror sighed as he heard Gadgets legs approaching him, he had been careless believing that he had won already and not stood back up. "Well I guess this is an important lesson to remember for the next fight then," Madras Horror though as the two legs came down on him and he watched his health gauge drop down to zero.
