+ History: Tsujimoto Kiichi, Masashige's father, knew that he would be training his son in kendo once they reached a certain age, so Masashige's parents agreed to "install" a Neuro-Linker onto their son at birth.

Masashige spent most of his childhood without a mother. When he was four, his parents got divorced because his father discovered that she was abusive towards Masashige. Since then, Masashige spent his childhood learning his father's style of Kendo in their dojo, trying to push his mother out of his mind. For three years, Masashige and his father would practice until they were both worn out. One night, his father came home drunk - he didn't drink much, usually - because he had lost a gamble. The Kendo Dojo was no longer owned by the Tsujimoto family.

When Masashige went in for his practice the next day, the new owner had Masashige's "friends" attack him to prove that they were willing to stay at the dojo at all costs. Masashige was in the hospital for almost a month. When he recovered, his father continued their practices at home, but it was never as intense as it was at the dojo. Masashige was always ready for practice, intent on using Kendo to win back the dojo someday. Until he met Yamanouchi Haru, the Burst Linker who was known as Ebony Crusader, Masashige never really talked to other people.

Haru was a member of the Kendo club at school. Knowing that Masashige’s family once owned a dojo, Haru approached him. They began to talk and Haru figured out why the Tsujimoto family lost their dojo. When he heard about Masashige’s wish to use Kendo to win back his family’s dojo, he made an offer to Masashige that he couldn’t resist: the chance to Accelerate.

That night, Masashige’s nightmare was about his abusive mother. He had no idea who she was or why she was beating him up, but he could not do anything to stop it. Then the dream shifted to getting beaten up by the dojo’s new owner. Masashige couldn’t do anything there, either – until Haru appeared in his dream and handed him a weapon. Masashige fought back, but still couldn’t win. Why can’t I win?! I want our dojo back!

+ Personality: Masashige is typically a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, but he knows when to be serious... most of the time. He is easily distracted, often by bugs, things that flicker, and things that spin. He is baffled by the way some people can meet and instantly become friends. Masashige has a brave side, but he knows when he is in over his head... most of the time. Though he has no talent when it comes to music, he is often seen hanging around street performers or concert halls, waiting for the musicians to start playing. He does not particularly enjoy or dislike meeting new people, as long as they are interesting. He will usually just ignore anything that disinterests him. He believes that life is all about adaptation and diversity. However, even with this view, drastic changes nearly drive him mad. Gradual changes, casual life; that is what Masashige believes is most important - at least when he's not training to win his dojo back.

Masashige is typically gentle and quite friendly in his everyday life. But he tends to be goofy and silly, so most people make him out to be somewhat of a joker. He is not very fond of reading, but he will read if he were bored enough. He is a young man who always seeks revenge against whoever harms someone precious to him. Masashige is extremely loyal to any of his friends and family. He has an easy-going attitude and he can usually blend with any people nice to him and his friends with a nearly natural ease.

Masashige is a natural born leader. His people skills have helped him gain many friends. He is a characteristically extroverted, outgoing person. Masashige has always been quick to make friendships and connect with strangers. He has a lot of confidence in himself and his skills. However good a leader Masashige is, he has a much greater preference towards being a follower. He takes orders well and carries them out as best he can. But he will only follow a good leader. Because of his natural set of leadership skills, he knows what to look for in a good leader. If he does not see those traits, he will either help them along or take over and lead by example. People often follow leaders simply because Masashige will follow them.

Given his natural leadership, people often assume that his strategies in battle are magnificent. He laughs at the thought of someone sitting around, thinking of ways to defeat their opponent. His philosophy in a fight? “Charge!” Absolutely no thought about strategy except “Hit it. Hit it hard. Hit it harder.” and “Kill it with fire!” He occasionally has a “bright” idea, but they do not always work out the way he intends them. His fighting style typically has a bit of flair to it, but reflects his personality almost impeccably. Without having a reason to fight, Masashige will not take his opponent seriously. He is most serious when he is defending or protecting someone or something. He also holds a belief that a battle is not measured by how much fame or power one gets from it, but by what is protected.

Only issue is the Speed required to dodge Rift Edge; minimum of 14 Spd to dodge his attack? The wording 'will have no problems dodging' though does seem to imply that those with Speed equal and nearly equal to 10 will be able to take less damage.

That's the way I intended it. If the Speed is at least 4 higher than mine, dodging it should be pretty easy. Probably about 90% to 95%. Within 3 points of my Speed will be difficult, but possible. I'm thinking like 40% to 80% chance if you're within 3. More than 3 Speed lower than mine and it would be near impossible. I'm thinking something like less than 35% at 4 less, with it getting progressively harder as the Speed is lower. Should I edit that in?
