Kenji Karasawa / Sapphire Minstrel
Name: Kenji Harata
Age: 14
Accel World Name: Sapphire Minstrel
Personality: Kenji could seem like a very distracted child to any passerby. He can constantly be found staring out a window, at his desk, or just out into space. Because of this, Kenji isn't well liked by any teacher he has ever had. Even when talking to Kenji, he seems a bit distant. Don't confuse this for anti-social behavior however. Kenji is more along the lines of a free-spirit with his head constantly in the clouds. When you get to know him, he is a very laid back, cool kind of guy.
History: Kenji was conceived a bastard son. His father was a musician, who had been playing at a local bar when he had seen Kenji's mother in the crowd. As with all Rock-star love affairs, it ended with a child. Originally, Kenji's father didn't want to keep the child, but Kenji's grandfather would not allow Kenji's father to leave Kenji behind, so Keji's father was forced to marry. The relationship ended up lasting, as Kenji's father ended up really coming to love his wife, Kenji's mother.
When Kenji was still young, His father told him about how they were the descendants of a great musician, who was so good, only the emperor was allowed to hear him play. Ever since that time, every man of the Harata bloodline have been musicians, and talented ones at that! The claim was highly suspect, but nevertheless, Kenji believed it and always flaunted it about.
At around 7, Kenji asked his father to start teaching him how to play guitar. His father was thrilled, and start to teach him on the spot. The tutoring was rigorous, but Kenji endured his father's lessons, even going as far as prioritizing them over his school work. Kenji proved to live up to the family name, as his skills with the guitar improved steadily over the next few years. Kenji was never as good as his father, but he was the best musician at his elementary school.
The financial situation of the Harata Family wasn't very good however. His father never got a big record deal, despite how good he was, and had to stick with playing at dive bars and clubs to support his family. His mother had become a maid at a local hotel, because she didn't continue her education after she was pregnant with Kenji. Because of this, Kenji was ecstatic when he found out his father had been putting aside money to buy Kenji a new guitar. His previous one was old, worn, and sounded terrible even with Kenji's exceptional skills. Kenji started to slack off more on school, just so he could play his guitar even more.
Tragedy struck when Kenji had become the center of a terrible accident. When he was 13, he was on his way to school, his guitar in its case on his back, when he was approached by a few thugs. The thugs wanted his guitar, and threatened to beat him up for it. Not willing to give away his treasure, Kenji thought for a moment. When he had his plan, Kenji calmly set the guitar down in front of himself. When one of the thugs went to grab it, Kenji unceremoniously punched him in the face. The resulting fight ended when Kenji was thrown into the street on accident. An oncoming truck ran over his playing hand, the right one, reducing the bones in his hand nearly to dust. The thugs panicked and ran, leaving Kenji by himself. Bystanders rushed to help the poor kid, one of them even picking up Kenji's guitar for him. Kenji lost consciousnesses due to pain during this, and was rushed to the hospital.
The doctors called Kenji's parents, they rushed themselves to the hospital. When they arrived, they were told that the hand would have to be amputated and replaced with a robotic one. Kenji's parents however, couldn't afford such an expensive treatment, and asked if their was any alternative. The doctor responded by telling them that Kenji's hand could be replaced with an old plastic prosthetic hand. He said that the hand wouldn't work as well as a robotic one, but could be replaced with one when they had the money. His parents readily agreed, and the procedure began.
When Kenji awoke, he found he had no feeling in his right hand. Since Kenji's mother had to work, Kenji's father alone had to explain what had happened and they both cried. Kenji's father cheered him up a little though, when he mentioned that Kenji could get a robotic hand and it would work as his he still had a normal hand. With this in mind, Kenji spotted his guitar that he ahd lost his hand to protect. The guitar itself miraculously had no damage done to it. When he tried to play it though, he found that his prosthetic hand could not keep up with his thoughts, and made playing impossible.
With much protest, Kenji was forced to go back to school, and was met with quite a bit of sympathy by his classmates. Kenji found that because of his situation, he easily earned people's pity. He didn't abuse his new met crutch, but wasn't afraid to pull the cripple card if he felt it was necessary. Back at home though, he still couldn't play his guitar, no matter how hard he tried. His fake hand simply couldn't play the guitar. After a bit of time, he finally gave up only trying to play it. The guitar would from now on, just sit and collect dust in the corner of his bedroom.
Kenji was introduced to the Brain Burst program by a friend of his, Naomi. She had seen him play guitar when they were still in middle-school together, and suggested that with the program, he could finally play again. The possibility of playing guitar excited Kenji, and he readily accepted the offer. The program installed successfully, as Naomi expected it would. After explaining to Kenji a few basics about the Accel world. However, it they were soon ambushed by three people. Naomi only said some words about real life invasions, red legion, and a few other things Kenji didn't understand. When one of them produced a cord, Naomi told Kenji to run. He did, but not before watching them corner Naomi. He didn;t watch after that.
That night, Kenji's dream was of the day he had lost his hand. Near the end of the dream, he heard a voice.
"So, that is what you want then?"
The voice still sends a chill up Kenji's spine to this day, but at the time, he chose to ignore it. When he arrived at school, he was eager to ask Naomi about how the 'Acceleration World' would help him play the guitar again. Upon discovery she had no memory of any 'Brain Burst' Kenji knew he was suddenly going to have to figure it out for himself. Still holds a grudge against the Red legion for what they did to Naomi, and has vowed to take vengeance.
This wasn't the end of Kenji's strange luck. While he Had been playing for a month or two, he had managed to accumulate enough points to afford to reach level two. However, the game suddenly just stopped working for him. Kenji panicked. He had just gotten a taste of what it was like to play again! However, he still retained his memories of the game, something uninstalled players did not have. Soon enough the game started to work again. Much to his annoyance however, his stats had been reset back to their original state.

However she was also in a bit of trouble with the red legion at the time, as she had insulted a few of the high-leveled players who were apart of it.
As a result, when Naomi walking home with Kenji, she was ambushed by a group of reds. With the help of a direct-link cable, they managed to keep challenging Naomi till she ran out. To this day, Naomi swears that she had never played a VR game with Kenji, much to his dismay.

Re: Kenji Karasawa / Sapphire Minstrel
Killer move needs a KG cost added, also I feel like making your opponent lose the will to fight is IS territory so I would change it to a stun instead. Also for your axe is the ability omni directional or targeted, also I feel like it needs some kind of cost or cooldown to prevent spamming since a blue DA spamming ranged attack seems rather odd especially since it causes flinching.

Re: Kenji Karasawa / Sapphire Minstrel
I'd suggest changing the move to saying it forces the opponent into non offensive actions intead of saying "losing will to fight"

Re: Kenji Karasawa / Sapphire Minstrel
Ah sorry thought I already gave my approval on this
So without further ado Approved.
That said you might want to change your stats to multiples of 400 so you aren't wasting them...
