Personality :
Thermidor doesn't speak too much. He usually goes straight to the point. He's also a bit shy, especially in front of a crowd, but he is loyal to his friends. He's also a bit cold to those who he thought is his enemy and strangers who doesn't seem to like him. Due to his mother's teaching, he has become a pacifist who tries to solve problems with words first. In the internet, he retains most of his personality except he's more cheerful. He also tries to retain a wise man persona in front of other people
History :
Thermidor is born from a Japanese father and a French mother. As a result, he's taller than most students and he has brown hair. Because of this, Thermidor was bullied a lot in his primary school and the bullies liked to target him for no reason. His mother taught him that violence won't do any good and this made him into a pacifist. Even though his mother told him to endure, he just can't and he decide to try to hide from them, but his height and hair made him stuck out from the other. In the end, he decided to endure it and kept it a secret

When he graduated, he enrolled in a distant school. In his new school, Themidor isn't bullied anymore. Everyone accepted him, and he has a lot friends. His distinctive appearance made him a bit unique. However, no one knows about his past and he never told them. Whenever they tried to ask it, he would calmly and skillfully change the topic. Only his best friend, Kazuki Miyahara, knew about his past

One day, Kazuki told him about the rumor on the internet about 'the program that shatters reality' and that he got the program. This time, Kazuki wanted to invite Thermidor to play with him. Thermidor seems to hesitated at first, but due to his loyalty to his friend, he accepted the program. Besides he was intrigued by it, especially about how it 'shatters your reality'. The mysterious program, BB2039.exe, was transferred and installed smoothly without any problem. Before they went home, Kazuki told him the basics of the Accel World and told him not to connect to the global net for a while. Thermidor wondered why, but he decided to did so

That night, he had a nightmare. He was in a dark room with a spotlight shining at him. Countless faces of those who mocked and bullied him before appeared and quickly mocked him. He tried to go away, but the faces followed and the spotlight still shone at him. He started to throw a tantrum. "Why can't you stop? Why can't you let me get away? Just let me go and disappear! Just let me hide in the darkness where no one knows who I am or how I look!" A deep male voice ringed in his head. "Is that your wish?" Suddenly, he woke up, sweating and breathing heavily because of that nightmare and wondered what had happened


Point of Distinction :
- Clothes : Thermidor likes to dress in black and white. If he's wearing something other than black, the color would have a darker hue than it normally should be (Red -> Maroon, Crimson, Dark Red; Blue -> Ultramarine, Navy Blue, Cobalt Blue; Green -> Dark Green, Army Green, Pakistan Green; etc) except for Khaki. He will reject bright and colorful colors such as pink, yellow, and purple.
- Height : due to his nature as a mix breed of French and Japanese, he's taller than normal Japanese students
- Hair : His brown hair inherited from his mother stands out between other Japanese who has a natural black hair

Accel World Appearance : His avatar appears to wear a special robe called Robes of The Shadow, causing his DA to appear in black, as if covered in shadow. (It's appearance looks like this :

When the EA is removed, he's actually a DA covered in a shade of yellow called Jonquil ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonquil_(color) )

Explanation : Jonquil Shadow is made from his wish of hide, both his body and appearance. The Robe of Shadow's ability to hide the DA appearance stems from his wish to hide his physical feature, the main reason why he was bullied, while the KM and the ability of Robe of The Shadow focus on hiding his body, both by blending in with the masses or by hiding in a dark and hidden place. Thermidor don't want something similar to happen at all and choose to run away from the bullies, while he kept everything a secret and will do anything to divert people's attention from this topic. This two factors gives his DA the color royal yellow, which contains tints of red (wish to run away or avoid their trauma) and yellow (diverting attention from their trauma)

Killer Move : Anonymous
Effect : When this ability is activated, 10 clones of Jonquil Shadow will appear. They will appear with the same condition as the original when this ability is activated (for example : the original is using a sword and missing one arm, all clones will have a sword and missed one arm). They're decoys that will be destroyed with one hit. The clones can move like a normal DA does (running, jumping, walking, etc), even attacking, using abilities, and activating killer moves, but any direct attack towards the enemy wouldn't deal any damage, even though the pain from the attack would be felt, while all buff/debuff KM won't work and offensive type KM will work but wouldn't deal any damage. Any tracking abilities, including the compass, will go haywire.

Weakness : AoE attacks will easily hit him and destroy all clones. The clones only moves around, so when Shadow moves out of the pattern (activating ability, taking out and using EAs other than Robe of The Shadow), he'll be easily discovered. Even though the clones can deal any indirect damage from environmental damage, their AI is a basic AI which isn't programmed to make full use of environmental damage.

EA : Robes of The Shadow
Effect : The robe gives Shadow the ability to become a 2D shadow figure and stick in a surface, enabling him to avoid attacks and hides in the shadows to prepare for ambushes. If the surface he sticks on is destroyed, he'll fall to the surface behind it or below it. While this ability is activated, Shadow gains the property of a shadow (except being erased by light). The most noticeable are :
1. His shape will be distorted when he stick or move while this ability is activated to rough terrain. This means he can nullify physical damage from things like spikes or jagged rock when sticking on said surface
2. Even though damage is transmitted, shadow is untouchable. So, attacking the shadow figure is the same as attacking both Shadow and the surface he sticks in
Weakness : To activate it, Shadow has to stick his back to the surface he's going to stick in. Also, without any shadow to cover him, he'll stick out, making it easier for the enemy to find out

Also regardless if they can attack or not, 100 clones is still a lot for a level 1.
