History: 18 years ago, a young man by the name of Axel was born, but this caused the loss of somebody. Axel's mother, Leia Heartnet, died as she gave birth to her son, holding him in her arms. The day which was meant to be one of happiness turned into one of sorrow. The father, Jay Heartnet, didn't know how to react to this. He had lost the love of his life because of his son. He couldn't help but consider him somewhat guilty of the death of his wife. Nevertheless, he followed his love's wish of calling him Axel, which followed her half-scandinavian origin, installed the Neuro Linker onto his son and started to educate him. Still, he couldn't help but be distant toward his son as he grew up, feeling the void of his missing wife and the thought that his own son was the cause of this.

At the age of 9, the young boy, Axel, had quite a surprise on his return. The doors were unlocked, the house was plunged in a dark color. The TV was still open in the living room and it seemed as if somebody had just eaten. The young boy started to call for his father, but there was no response. Suddenly a loud noise came from upstair, as if something heavy had fell or had been thrown. Quickly, the young boy went in front of the stairs before yelling dad again. Yet again, there was no answers nor sounds of movements. Slowly but surely, Axel went up the stairs, hoping there was nobody he didn't know and that his father was simply asleep. Arriving upstair, he saw the bathroom wide open with the lights on, but nobody in there. His father's room was open as well, but no lights on and nothing inside. This left only one more room to check: Axel's room.

The room was closed, which was quite unusual. Succombing to curiosity, the boy advanced slowly, putting his hand on the knob. He swallowed his saliva and opened the door slowly. The door stopped, hitting something behind it. To be safe, the young man opened the light... Something he shouldn't have done... On the walls, there were words written. They were written with a black marker, the walls were some sort of white so it made the words easy to be read. On one wall it was written: "IT'S YOUR FAULT!", another was written "I'M SORRY." and the last wall he could see said "GOODBYE, MURDERER.". Axel did not understand any of this. Why would these words be written in his room? He was starting to be really scared now. He decided to enter the room, to inspect more around. He saw a chair that had been pushed violently to the wall. This wasn't good. Suddenly, he heard the door close and something collide with his arm. The young man turned around and raised his head. His mouth opened. At first, no sound came out, but a few seconds passed before he made a huge scream, fell on his back and backed in the far end of his room next to his bed, his eyes still looking at what was there.

Hearing the scream, the neighbors came rushing into the Heartnet Family's house and rushed in the young boy's room. He was holding his legs, his head buried in his knees, whispering something. As they went to walk toward him, they turned around and saw what the kid had seen to make him scream. His father was dead, held by his belt hooked to the ceiling. The police came in a few minutes later and took the young boy away fromt he scene. He was still whispering some words that made no sense to anyone, shaking and crying. Axel's uncle arrived at the police station, hearing what had happened in the kid's house. He was given a piece of paper, held by the father as he had done the act. The uncle took a quick glance at it before burying it in his pocket. Grabbing Axel, he decided to bring him to his home, away from all of this. At that time, the young boy couldn't help but blame his weakness, of how useless he was.

A few days had passed and the boy seemed to feel as if nothing had happened, which worried the uncle. Bringing him to the doctor, he learned that he seemed to have completely forgotten everything from that day, as if his mind acted to protect him. This was the best in his case. As the uncle brought Axel back to his home, the young boy asked where his father was. Startled, the uncle hesitated before answering that Jay had to go in Africa for a while for his job, leaving Axel to his care. The boy nodded and looked in front of him. Days and weeks passed and he began playing video games to stop thinking about where his father could be. Nonetheless, he felt lonely and weak, as if there was something he could've stopped and was unable to do it. That feeling lingered on as he kept grewing up.

As he grew up, Axel became more lonely. When people wanted to be with him, to be his friends, they always ended up in situations that caused them to stay away. Situations that Axel could've prevented. He was weak, mentally and physically. He wasn't able to help anyone nor protect his friends. The young man was feeling more depress about it and decided to stay alone, playing video games. He decided to try Online games, to see how it would be. He found an interesting game, starting to get hooked to it. As he progressed through the game, he met many players that he was friendly with, but they never stayed around for long. That was, until he met 2 persons. These 2, which he later met in real life, never went away, no matter the problems and the mistakes showing Axel's weakness. They stayed beside him, playing with him and having fun altogether. With them, Axel felt stronger, that he was gaining power.

As he reached 18 years old, Kamina and Reika, his two real friends, announced that their family was moving to another city, which caused anger and sadness in the young man's heart, feeling like his weakness was causing this and had spread on his 2 friends. His only true friends, moving to another city, where they wouldn't be able to reach each other as they were doing now... Reika went back to her and Kamina's parent, but the brother remained, wanting to talk to Axel. (Rp-Style time)

"Look, Axel, i'm sorry that we gotta move. But that doesn't mean we'll stop talking or messaging each other. The world may be vast, but we still have our neuro linker."

"I know Kamina. But I preferred having both of you with me, here, since you were my first true friends. I wanted to keep going as we were, be able to enjoy life together."

Kamina smiled and took out a wired cable, which made Axel raise a brow. What was that cable for? But he felt like it wouldn't take long before the young man explains.

"This will be my farewell present. What I'll be giving you is a game, yet it isn't. It may mean the world to you like it can only mean so little. I'd like to show you how to play it, but sadly I'll be gone before I can do that. So, here's what i'm going to say: Do not connect to the Global network until tomorrow, after you had a weird dream. When you do, you'll feel different. Trust your instincts and let that beast inside you go wild for once. You may learn one thing or two."

Kamina plugged the wire in his neuro linker and plugged the other part to Axel's. Suddenly, the screen Brain Burst appeared in front of the young man's eyes. Installing the game, he looked rapidly at his friend's face. Somehow, he showed an expression of remorse, yet some sort of... joy. Why would he feel that as he gave the game? Suddenly, Kamina's parent came out of the house, asking him to come back. The installation being over, the kid went back to his parents after saying farewell to Axel. The young man bowed in front of his friends house, thanking them for all they had done for him, and went back to his home. Eating a bit, he decided to go to sleep early in order to be able to face tomorrow without any allies.

During that night, Axel had a nightmare. A nightmare about a certain event in his past. He was sitting in a room. A room he was slowly starting to remember about. In front of him, there was something linked to the ceiling by what seemed to be a belt. Light shined in the room, revealing his father's face. Sadly, he couldn't look away, yet he felt he had seen this already... Then, the walls fell, showing people walking away, being dragged away or getting involved in accidents. He even had a glimpse of someone on an hospital bed dying with a baby in her arms. Then, he saw Reika and Kamina, walking away slowly by their parent's side. That was starting to be too much. Holding his head in his hands, the young man was starting to turn crazy.

"WHY MUST THIS BE HAPPENING?! I... I only wanted to be stronger... I wanted to be as strong as I can, even if it destroys me... I need more strenght to work toward my goal... Why must I be so weak..."

"Is that your wish?"

Hearing that voice, Axel woke up, sweating and tears rolling down his cheeks. What was that? What is it that he had seen? Was it the Nightmare Kamina had mentionned? Surely it was. Yet, he didn't understand why he saw his father hanging on a belt and a woman in her death bed, having practically never went to an hospital. That was weird, but it was best to be forgotten. Getting ready, he decided to start heading to school and activated the connection to the Global Network. That was the first connection of Platinum Blader during the first Era of Brain Burst.

During his time in Brain Burst, he fought, met some people and joined the Green Legion, later known as Xi Tauri. During his time in this legion, he fought a certain enemy, called Licorice Angel, one that was able to move him to his very core... and died in her arms. This wasn't a fight fought on brain burst, but in the real world, and Licorice's player decided to suicide in front of him instead of facing him. That made Axel sad, showing his weakness once again, but gave him a new goal: eliminating the one that created this situation. For this, he kept fighting, hunting Copper Spear and the last Angel to disolve the Disaster Cult, which he succeeded, with some allies.

Time went on, days passed as he kept growing stronger. He became the leader of his legion, leading a few to fight in the Unlimited Neutral Field. Yet, the end of this era was closing in, as he has been betrayed by a friend of his. One that he had brought to this game, known as Lilac Valkirya. She joined Strawberry Bliss, the one that would mark the end of this world. In the end, the legions clashed. Platinum and a few others faced the Strawberry legion. They had almost won... until Strawberry released her IS, causing an IS clash. The game was hit to it's core and the system decided to shut down. Since then, nobody has been able to access the game anymore.

A week had passed. Axel was returning from school when he received an email.

Points of Distinction: His dark blue hair (Even though it's dyed) and his purple eyes. He measures 6 feet, which makes him a head over most people in the streets.

Explanation: His desire to get stronger, work toward his goal and defeat all opponents in his way made him a Blader, one that uses blades to reach victory. Although he bears the name blader, his character is able to wield long range weaponry that affects his main move, as long as they possess a blade upon them (Or use bladed munition). His repressed trauma is his parents death, which he kept trying to hide deep down in his mind.

Hey Blader just saying like I reviewed the OLD Platinum Blader App, make sure you give off a Repression Type Trauma if you wish to Keep that Platinum Metal Type.

Well, try to keep the name realistic. Axel Heartnet is definitely not realistic. Unless you can make a reason why his parents named him that way which make sense.
