Lightning Gadget Vs. Mauve Huntress

Arashi was rushing out of a store with a wrapped gift in hand and started rushing to get back to the train "man, you would think everyone forgot Christmas is coming. Well at least I got this for Ami. Now it's time for me to get it to her before...

The world turned Blue as Arashi was accelerated into Lightning Gadget. He shot down to just outside the store he was at but now he was in his duel avatar. Everything looked like the shopping district he was just at but now the streets were empty.

"what, a challenge, Dang it I forgot to disconnect oh well." He looked around "huh... I wonder who." He looked up to the name "Mauve Huntress huh, I wonder if she's hunting for deals or burst points."

Rin, together with her classmates in the special school, went out for Christmas shopping. But for her, this is not Christmas shopping. It's a chance for her to actually fight an official BB battle. After hearing much of the rules and battle strategies from her parent, Flame Juggernaut, she's itching to duel someone.

"Rin you are way behind, hurry and catch up," her teacher shouted as she stared on the store selling Peach Mango Juice. She nodded at her teacher as a response but opted to buy one first. After buying and sipping a taste from it, she mumbled, "Burst Link", and the entire place turned blue. She looked at the match list and saw, "Lightning Gadget."

"What a flashy name. Might as well try it," she said as her delicate avatar selected the mentioned name as her target.

The entire area changed and the district turned into more of a battle ground. Empty streets with no people roaming around. All she could see were old roads with cracked surfaces and ruined buildings.

"Let's see," she muttered as this was her first official fight, "according to him this compass thing directs at your opponent so he's somewhere there."

Rin, now in the flesh of Mauve Huntress, a beautiful archer-like avatar with a tall and slim physique, very very different from her real world persona.

The time starts 1800 to 1799, officially starting the DUEL.

Gadget hummed as he looked around. His compass pointed in a general direction but Gadget wasn't to thrilled to face his opponent head on. "Huntress, is a female version of a hunter, that would mean they would use a weapon to hunt with like a spear or a hunting knife." He hummed then looked up towards the roof of the buildings "maybe if I get some height I can see the huntress and turn her into the hunted when I send one of my gadgets after her. He chuckled as he ran down the sidewalk knocking over a trash can gaining some KG

"Gadget,huh?" Mauve Huntress thought, "if his name refers to the type of avatar he is, then he uses some sort of tactic regarding gadgets?" Mauve Huntress thought but is not yet sure of it. His name is really strange to begin with. "Equip, Kyudo," Mauve Huntress said equipping her trusted bow on her left hand. "Let's see, if I can get on top of a tall building, I can monitor my surroundings and possibly, snipe him," Mauve Huntress observed the buildings with some light on it turned on but probably deserted anyway to look for a suitable vantage point.

"There," she pointed out as she found a great place to camp, "she ran ahead opposite of the direction of her opponent. If Mauve Huntress manages to find a perfect place to set up, then she can potentially use the most of her abilities. "I wonder what kind of prey I'm up to," she said while jumping to the steel ladder on the side of the building and used the airconditioning unit sticking out from the wall of the building to use as a stepping stone to get on top.

Gadget climbed up another building and looked around. If one was to do an aerial map. Gadget was about four buildings north of Huntress. However the gaps between the buildings would not be easy to jump across unless Gadget had some speed. He then recalled that just the other day he managed to obtain a pair of lightning boots. The boots were designed for movement and they could also grind rails and other edges like a skateboard. Gadget didn't have much experience on a board however he had attempted some basic balancing and he seemed to be able to handle balance quite nicely. He activated his Lightning Boots and equipped them.

"If I could learn how to use these lightning boots." Gadget thought to himself "I could easily slide by opponents and taser them.

Mauve Huntress on top stared at the arrow pointing on the direction in front of her. "So my opponent is there?" The Sun is pretty high and its somewhat close to cloudy so there are no weather problems to interfere to her accuracy. Mauve Huntress crouched on top of the building holding her bow with her left hand and an arrow on her left already ready to be fired. She waited as she slowly turned her head from let to right to see abnormal occurrences in her surroundings.

"The best way for a hunter to hunt is to wait for the chance to strike her pray," Mauve Huntress thought as she readies herself for combat. Just below her killer gauge are 10 mauve colored bars. They are a different set of gauge existing only for the purpose of the usage of the ability of her Enhance Armament: Kyudo. She is still yet to use it so she still has no idea the power of that ability but she plans on using the full extent of it on her first fight.

"Come out now rabbit," she thought patiently waiting for her opponent.

Gadget hummed as he looked at the edge of the building then looked over the instruction document on his new shoes which taught him the basic grind trick the Frontside, "Now let me see. I think I get a running start and then just jump onto the rail and grind the rail through the concave." He took a deep breath to relax himself "okay, here we go." He ran towards the ledge and jumped onto it. He started to grinding the ledge heading towards his opponent. A small meter showed his balance and the side he needed to lean towards to keep the trick going. "Heh... nothing to it just got to keep my balance."

Mauve Huntress noticed something from afar. But its not yet clear so she readied her guard and weapons. She glanced at the compass as it shakes indicating the opponent is on the move.
"I see, so you are coming for the kill," she smirked knowing that for an avatar to come up close in front of a range avatar is like announcing, "come kill me bro", in front of her. "Maybe he doesn't know I'm a purple-type avatar who specialized in range attacks?" Naturally, if you encounter purple, you notice the Blue+Red color combination which means Close range+Long range specialized avatars. Therefore, her opponent probably thought that Huntress uses a close range weapon.

"Fool," she murmured with a slight grin on her face, "let's make that avatar feel the sting from my arrows." She said as if whispering to her Enhance Armament.

"Be the one with the bow, take it and fire it, let this strike to my opponents," she thought feeling an arrow aiming for a target, she loads her arrow to her bow as she waits for her opponent to appear.

Gadget notes a slight downhill grade on his rail and sees that he's coming to the end of the rail. If he jumped to the left side. He would be able to land on the roof he's currently on and stop but if he kept going he would most likely make it when he jumped off the rail and landed on the opposite roof and keep his grind going.

"well the worse thing is that I can fall and hit myself for some damage but I must not be afraid to take some chances and get messy." He bent his knees to get some jump power then at the end of the ledge he sprung with a leap and easily cleared the gap and landed on the second roof's ledge with a slight rock but managed to regain his stance and continue his grind. He grinned "ha. Now this is the only way to shop."

Mauve Huntress saw a yellow avatar leaped on top of a building onto the next. "So that's my opponent?" When she read "Lightning" she thought of an avatar made of sparks of electricity or blue colored substance but she was surprised to see a yellow avatar. "Indirect Damage, huh?" she muttered concluding that the enemy possibly uses some sort of electrical attacks base from his name to indirectly damage his enemies. According to his parent, each color has their own strengths and weaknesses so as to yellow, indirectly attacking but avoiding close confrontation is the best way for them to fight.

"Be one with the arrow," she muttered as the white arrow loader to her bow brightens into a purplish color. She wants to draw first blood so she decided that with the boost of Kyudo, she can definitely fire an arrow that will reach her opponent. Then, one bar disappeared below her KG gauge signaling that she has used one charge of her ability.

"Strike!"

She shouted as she fired a gleaming purple arrow straight to her opponent with tremendous speed and possibly power. With the effect of the EA, the speed of the arrow is increased possibly x2 of the speed of a regular arrow that Mauve Huntress will fire.

Gadget was just grinding when a purple flash was seen then all of a sudden an sharp arrow embedded itself into Gadget's right shoulder causing some bits of his armor chip off and for Gadget to cry out in pain like he had just been shot in the shoulder. He lost his balance and fell off the ledge but thankfully onto the roof. He was now flat on his back with a purple arrow sticking out of his right shoulder. His HP gauge down to half from that one attack (HP: 50 KG: 55)

Gadget quickly crawled behind a nearby air conditioning unit. "oh... that hurt..." He muttered then looked at the Arrow sticking out of his shoulder and pulled it out and looked at it. "an Arrow? Wait... is that a hunting weapon..." He groaned as he remembered that females hunters preferred a bow to other weapons for hunting. "great Gadget, now what are you going to do. You get hit with another full power arrow and you're down for the count." He hummed as he thought. "How am I going to get in range for my taser if I can't get across these rooftops without getting an arrow through my circuits. He then blinked then got a crazy idea so crazy it just might work. "Gadgets as Limbs..." He muttered

His body broke down into its eight pieces. Two hands, Two Arms, One Chest and Torso, One head and two legs with the EA Lightning Boots still attached.

"Amazing," Mauve Huntress murmured as she was in awe at the sight of the power of her arrow. "So this is the Accelerated World?" she thought as her brain was filled with ecstasy. But this is no time to feel great. Seeing the HP gauge of her opponent drop sharply and his KG gauge increased dramatically, means that her opponent is capable of using his abilities or killer moves. After giving out her location from that arrow fired a while ago, its time to relocate.

"I need to move, fast."

Mauve Huntress ran further back as she leaped from the building to another trying to maintain her distance away from her opponent. "Luckily, my avatar has light armor giving me considerable vertical height in jumping."

Had Mauve looked at her compass she would have noticed it was moving still. Gadget had decided to use his feet as transports for his head and hands and they were moving at a much faster rate then Gadget had been before and they were now grinding the rooftop edge.

Mauve Huntress established herself on a new building to camp. But noticed something weird, "My compass, its still moving." She thought that the power of the blow a while ago would have made her enemy avatar stopped or paused from moving but yet it reacted as if it was nothing. Mauve Huntress has yet to identify the ability of his opponent and is right now at a disadvantage after revealing the firepower of her arrows. She noticed a yellow object moving in the rooftop edge. It looks similar to her opponent but gradually smaller. "What's going on?" She murmured as she loaded another arrow to her bow. "Well, who cares. As long as I crush it to pieces," she aims another arrow empowered by Kyudo reducing the stock of bars to 8. "Strike!"

Gadget was watching with a focused stare. He was waiting for a purple flash. He had remembered seeing one just before he got pierced by an arrow. He was sure that with his reaction time. He could dodge it. As he skated off the building and landed on the next one, he saw the flash "Bail!" He shouted This skate command was a command for all parts to jump off the rail and they did. An arrow was embedded into the roof ledge where the parts had been a moment ago.

Gadget and his limbs hopped to some cover behind an air condictioning machine. "heh heh..." He laughed "nice shooting Robin Hood," He called out "but uh you're going to have to do better then that to catch me this time. Now I'm prepared for your arrows."

"I missed."

Mauve Huntress with a blank expression stared at the arrow that struck on the roof.

"What kind of ability was that?" Mauve Huntress was startled by what Lightning Gadget did to evade her arrow. "So he is capable of pulling a trick like that?" Mauve Huntress gritted her teeth and clenched her right fist. "Your going to pay for that rabbit," Mauve Huntress scowled as she again jumped to another roof maintaining her distance from opponent. "Now I know your trick you sneaky scrap of metal."

"yeah I'm sure I will." Gadget replied "but since I'm still active and you keep running away from me like a scared little girl. I guess cowards really do win at this game after all. Heh... pathetic..." Gadget grinned He hoped his taunt would get Huntress to come to him.

[Forthwind]

"Hooo. . so you are trying to get inside my head with those rusty insults, scrap of metal?"
Mauve Huntress furiously replied mocking the yellow avatar. "If you are so prideful about fair fight then why not fight fair?" Mauve Huntress taunted the yellow avatar as she thought that his ability is too annoying. "Let's see who'll last, the prey chasing the hunter, or the hunter playing with the prey," Mauve Huntress announced as she fired an arrow with no boosted effects from her Enhance Armament.

"Thunk!"

That's the sound Gadget heard when the Arrow embedded itself into the air conditioner he was chilling by.

Gadget laughed "fight fair? Gee, why should I do that. I mean I don't think it's fair that you have a long range arrow attack and I'm stuck with a move that turns me into pieces of metal. You think that's fair, try playing with my avatar in this lousy game."

While he was saying this. His hands spider walked while his feet hopped to the other side of the building to grind on that side so that they could get closer to their target. All they had to do was get onto the same building at Huntress and they could get close enough to her for a double taser two hit killer combo.

"Hooo. . " Mauve Huntress mumbled this and noticed that Lightning Gadget has his head all alone without arms or legs to make it move. "How can a head move without a body part to support it?" She asked herself this with a big smile on her face. She quickly loaded her arrow and used one charge in her Enhance Armament's gauge. She's aiming for the big head of that yellow avatar. She imagines, a man standing in front of a target with an apple in his head. The apple. The apple is the head. She thought of this and fueled her arrow.

"Strike!" She roared firing an arrow that is headed to the head of her opponent.

"Thunk" was heard when yet another Arrow was embedded into the air conditioner Gadget was behind. The arrows were unable to pierce through the air conditioner so Gadget was safe

Gadget chuckled as he leaned his head against the air conditioner and faced directly north of his opponent "shoot all you want, Robin Hood, but as long as you don't have the proper angle to get me behind this air conditioner. You're just going to waste your arrows. You will have to get either to my left, to my right, directly above me, or in front of me, but from behind me is completely protected.

LH: Hands in position Boss.

Gadget's two hands and feet were chilling behind more AC units of the same building but in front of where Gadget's head was. They had created a sort of sensor grid so that when a person entered into their grid they would shoot off their taser attack and hopefully hook them both into the target and deliver a fatal combo blow.

"This is getting annyoing," Mauve Huntress scowled as she loaded another arrow on her bow but this time she took one out not to fire one but to ready if her opponent does anything weird. "What a tricky avatar, to be my first opponent, you should be honored," Mauve Huntress as she turned her back from her opponent and resumed taking distance away from him. "As much as possible I want to remain far away from him as possible," she thought as she further her distance by two buildings. With her build and speed, she can be pretty swift and agile to dealt with. What would make her weak is her defense as in real life, she too cannot defend herself but has chosen to fight with her bow and arrow.

"I have a plan, but I need to cover distance," she thought and looked back at her opponent with a smirk on her face (which cannot be seen of course).

"honor, to be shot by a coward, nah that ain't honor that's just me being stupid enough to leave myself open to cowardly ranged attacks. If you were a true hunter you would come finish the job.

[Forthwind]

Ignoring the insulting words of her opponent, Mauve Huntress jumped on an airconditioning unit and grabbed the steel ladder below it after she had jumped from the AC unit to get to the ground properly. She has now went down from the building. After that, she rotated and moved to her left and is looking for a new building to climb. "I'll show that yellow scrap of metal," she muttered.

When Gadget didn't hear his opponent he checked his compass and she was moving to get a different angle to his left side or out onto the main street. He chuckled to himself and recalled his hands and feet to his head. "Alright Limbs obviously our opponent is going to try and get us from another angle what shall we do."

RH: Find her before she finds us or snipes us.

LH: I would think enough time has passed so that if we return to the main body we can rebuild. With increased mobility we can keep the environment between her and us

"Kinda hard to grind back to the body without drawing attention to ourselves." Gadget thought "but if we don't move now, we give her time to setup another attack. Alright hit the rail and make it quick"

The parts loaded themselves back onto the feet and they grinded on the rail on the other side to get back to the main body which was waiting for them with the upper arms behind some rooftop objects which covered the angle that Huntress could shoot from.

Gadget and his parts gathered together in a covered position but had to wait a few more seconds to be able to rebuild
