The intense electric attack ran through my body, dealing a great deal of damage. ( HP is now 40% ) Angered by his inappropriate touch, I furiously hit the arm holding me, while using my ability to freeze his free shoulder and head. And as soon his grasp would lighten, I distance myself.

HP: 40%
KG: 17.5%

Taking the punch and damage (HP: 45, KG: 50) Gadget released Alice and grunted "Gadgets as limbs"

He barely was able to trigger his ability by vocal command before his mouth was frozen shut. His head, arms and hands separated into their respective gadgets the others being frozen in place but his two arms and head had ice on them making them hard to move leaving only his hands free of ice.

"Both Hands, full power conduction! I don't care where you get her!" Gadget projected in thought (KG: 0)

Gadget's two hands surged with electricity as they charged at Alice with a moderate spider like pace. Only one had to get a hold of Frost and deal the attack to win

As I manage to break free I see his body faling into a few pieces, stunned for a second, I look at what seems like a corpse. But movement catches my attention, his hands are crawling toward me! Jumping back, I run around them to not get too far from the main body.

-Creep! Call those hands of yours back or I'll smash them!!!!

My tone of voice slightly betrayed the fact I'm more scared from that horror movie like situation than ready to play smack-a-mole with his hand.

Gadget made a mocking laugh through his frozen over mouth. He had a feeling it would scare the hell out of his opponent

The left hand chased after Alice while the right hand went a different direction around the other side of Gadget's body to try and cut Alice off and attack from a side.

A figure clad in a black robe stands inside a classroom. Amused by the battle (and the information he gets), a glowing red emoticon-like smile appears on his face. He was Jonquil Shadow, the first DA that has beaten Gadget by a huge margin

After the fight with Lightning Gadget, Shadow has put Gadget on his "Spectate List" or some kind of it (he doesn't seem to care about its name). He has been accelerated automatically right when the battle started and has been watching all the time.

As he sees Gadget's enemy, Alice Frost, running away while being chased by Gadget's hands, he sighs and make a
remark

"So now you're bullying a little girl? How pitiful" said Shadow in a somewhat mocking tone

OOC note by Moderator:

Two rules apply to spectators by default:

Spectators cannot come closer than 10 metres to duel opponents.
Spectators have zero combat ability; they cannot use offensive system skills.

Other notes:

Spectators have S-rank Agility, but in words that means maxed running and jumping ability, allowing you to jump a few storeys in a single bound (?).
The battle stage cannot be destroyed in any way by spectators.
Spectators have no heath gauge, so in that sense they have no HP to lose.
Either duel opponent can banish a spectator(s) from the stage, by accessing their menu, clicking on a spectator's name, and selecting the option to Kick them.
A duel may be converted into a Battle Royale with both duel opponents' consent and all the selected spectator's agreement. This applies in conjuction with the above rule.*

And I think I've covered all that is needed for Ray to spectate the fight.

"there's a difference between Mutual Combat and bullying Jonquil Shadow." A female voice replied next to him. Rose Bloom was also in the classroom watching the fight. "and for the most part the two are fighting in mutual combat. She actually was the one who challenged Gadget and Gadget tried to talk nicely to her and she more or less demanded a fight which Gadget accepted. It is not his fault that his special ability causes him to fall to pieces and those pieces turn into autonomic gadgets." She hummed "he has so much potential but he fails to use it because he doesn't want to fight. He doesn't see the point in this game nor the power it controls. He sees acceleration as nothing but a cheating tool and he against using that tool and that can make him indirectly dangerous.

Upon hearing a girl's voice replying his remarks, he keep watching while leaning to the window and replied calmly

"I know, I know. It's just a joke. But you have to see that expression on his face" said Shadow, as he points to Gadget's half frozen head.

After he stopped pointing at Gadget's head, he continues his reply

"I also know he has potential. I've fight him before and I know full well what he can do and what I imagine he can do, but mastering his ability is hard. They're tricky after all"

Shadow stop leaning to the window and turn his body to face the female DA.

"And who might you be? You seem to know who I am, yet I never feel like we have met before"

"We haven't," Rose Bloom replied "I'm Rose Bloom, I'm the one who gave Lightning Gadget Brain Burst. I guess you could call me his Guardian or Parent while in the Accelerated World and the reason I know you is because I was there observing the fight between you and Gadget. I just never drew attention to myself." She looked out the window saw Gadget's expression and sighed "he does have a perverted streak as he's attracted to females in general but he usually keeps it in check and most of the time if the girl says no to his advances, He'll apologize and stop. He's a lot better then a lot of boys I know.

"We, or our Duel Avatar to be exact, has one thing in common. You know what it is?"

He gives a slight pause. However before Rose Bloom can answer, he continues.

"I'm sure you know what kind of people with a yellow Duel Avatars are. They hide behind their lies and facade. He... is no exception."

Farther away, a metallic avatar leans on the border of another window.
His silhouette seems familiar to the yellow spectator. His copper color shining proudly, the avatar walks to the other two.
"I'd like to see if the girl will prove to be a disgrace to my name without the dramatics behind. I'm sure you can understand the feeling of being a veteran, Leonids."

Since those things are hands, the most logical solution that comes to me is to climb out somewhere they wouldn't be able to follow or at least that they'll need more time to reach me.
So I sprint out to the stairs and climb them as fast as possible. Once on top I would take a time to analyze the situation and think on how I will proceed next. I need to get rid of those hands in top priority.

Hearing Rose's reply, he sighed

"Well, while you might be true, you might be wrong too. Appearance of someone's Duel Avatar reflects their inner mind"

After the mysterious DA's interruption, he glance a bit toward the mysterious DA. Upon seeing him, it is clear he knows him.

"Ah, Copper Spear. What brings you here?"

After a slight pause, he continues.

"Also, I suggest you stopped using that title. It is meaningless in this new era."

Rose hummed in thought at Shadow’s response but before she could start asking what he meant about a duel avatar reflecting one’s inner self. Another avatar named Copper Spear approached them and started talking to Shadow calling him king something. Rose decided to keep her mouth shut and look to the battle.

Gadget’s left hand had stop chasing Alice Frost when she went up the stairs. The Right hand came over and the two seemed to plot by tapping their fingers along the ground. Then the right hand snapped it’s thumb and middle finger then transmitted an idea. The two hands linked their fingers together and then the right hand lifted the left hand up to the first step then the left hand used leverage from its wrist joint to pull the right hand up and they repeated this for each step of the stair case.

Gadget’s head hopped to where the hands were climbing the staircase so that he could stay in range of his hands in case they need further instructions but it seemed like they were doing just fine.

The creepy hands started climbing the stairs, My Killer would only allow me another use of my Ice creation... Since most of his other body parts are already frozen... Freezing those would allow me a clear shot at his main body.

Getting at the range needed to ensnare those limbs in my ability I call out the name of my power!
-Ice Creation!

Forming a thick dome over the hands, I jump down the stairs planning to go straight for the main body and end this!

What Alice didn't see as she ran down the stair was a pair of half frozen arms that had followed Gadget head and placed themselves at the bottom of the steps. If someone stepped on them they would most likely lose their balance and fall due to the fact that the arms were rounded and slick with ice

The hands were covered in a thick dome of ice on the steps but electricity started surging through the ice and then the ice cracked and shattered. The left hand had used conduction on the ice to break it down. The right hand still had it's full charge

Gadget smirked "I planned for that."

Placing himself to see both the fight and its spectators, metallic veteran speaks again.
-I'm here to see if my child would be able to handle herself.
Taking a pause of his own he glares at Shadow before continuing.
-So you want to forget the past? To forget how our hard work was destrouyed by that bitch? I saw what happened, I couldn't arrive in time to help but I lived it all. Don't act like a wimp, who besides the last few ones of the first generation are going to stand up would she rise again?

Upon hearing Spear's word, two oval-like shape appears to be glowing, forming a pair of eyes with an intense glare. He turns his head toward Spear and replied.

"DO YOU THINK I'M HAPPY WITH THIS? DO YOU THINK I'M NOT ANGRY? ALL OUR HAD WORK DISAPPEARED IN A MATTER OF MINUTES THANKS TO HER!"

After throwing a fit of rage, he pauses a bit to catch his breath. Then he continues his reply

"Beside, the only veterans I can confirm to have survived are you, me, and Regimental Samurai. With only the three of us, it will be impossible. We have to get help from the new generation too"

The bad news shocked Shadow

"If they survived, then surely she... also.... survived....."

His voice is filled with sadness. Emotions mix up inside him. Anger, disgust, and sadness. These three emotion is what describe Shadow's emotion right now. He simply don't know what to do as these three emotions within him mix together. However, he choose to calm himself down and ask Spear

"And, who are those that you've gathered?"

Understanding what the news would mean to the ancient king, Spear left him a moment to sort out his feelings. As Shadow asked about the few people that he could get help from, Spear answered.
- They're not many, First there is Resolution Fist, he has some potential. Then there would be my child, even if she's a total noob her ability could prove useful. After that, I think we could ask this Gadget boy, if he start fighting seriously. And finally, Indigo Shark. They're all at level one though, we'll have to train them seriously.

"What they need now is experience. They need to master their DA and throw away their child personality. As you've known, most Brain Burst player are kids and teenagers who can't even witstand the pain. That is why they should get used to this world as fast as they can

Rose Bloom just listened to the two avatars talk and she was stunned. They wanted players like Gadget and herself to throwaway their 'child like' personalities and become what machines that fight? What type of existence is that not one she agreed to that's for sure and Gadget only playing this game to analyze it for her.

"You can forget about Gadget or me ever conforming to your training." Rose Bloom said "We're not machines built for fighting. We feel for a reason and when we don't that's when we become monsters and personality I never agreed to become a monster"

Taking a step forward he stares directly at her face.
-Considering you're not knowledgeable about King Leonids you must be one of those second generation linker, so you have at most 2 month as a linker. Me and Shadow here have been playing around for years. Then a crazy bitch came and spread chaos in our paradise of fighting. You heard the rest previously, the kings fought her and she won by forcing a reset of the game. Now you're saying this nonsence about becoming monsters. How old are you? 8? This ain't about becoming monsters or anything girl. It's about growing up and protecting what's important. If you can't understand this you'd be better of uninstalling Brain Burst than being a disgrace to us real Burst Linkers.
