"Stop, Spear. Let her be."

After calming Spear, who seems to be angry, he move towards Rose

"I'm sorry for what he said. But, everything he said is true. Both of us are veterans from the old generations and I was once a <<King>>, a leader of a legion. We know the 'Accelerated World' more than you do. Everything you've seen up until now is just a tip of the iceberg."

He pauses a bit, and start walking away from Rose

"As we accelerates in Brain Burst, our mind matures faster than our body. Kids who acts like teenagers are adults are common in the Accelerated World because of this. In the end, your personality too will be twisted just as much as we do."

Yet, another slight pause. Shadow sighed a bit and continue his reply

"What we ask from both of you is to get used to the battle in the Accelerated World, where the pain is real without any form of pain limiter like in other game. In here, fracturing an arm is more than enough to make most of the new players squeal. It is that what I want you to overcome. If not, in the upcoming battle where you have to fight all out, you'll just be stuck squirming in pain, leaving you at the mercy of the enemy.

Of course, you're free to decline. I also don't want to involve the new generation's player like you. It started in our generation and we have a score to settle with her. However, I don't know what will happen if we lose. Before, one of us managed to land the killing blow, yet here we are, stripped of our power and equipment from the glories of the old, leaving nothing but our pride. So, what will happen if she win? the consequences will be far worse than this."

As I jumped, a half frozen arm placed itself where I would land. Joining my feets together I land with all my weight to stomp the arm and using the momentum of my landing I roll on the ground and stand with my back to the stairs.
( Since it's a dome I made over your hands I think it is only logical that shards fall on them, it was still a big piece of ice after all. )

Rose stood tall against Copper Spear and didn't flinch when he got in her face being in the audience he was unable to hurt her so she wasn't afraid of him.

When Shadow tried to explain to Rose that her personality will be twisted like theirs would if she continued playing she had this to say "To state facts, I'm a level 2 and I'm 14 years old. I'm not 8 and in fact I'm smart enough to get that if you think a world of fighting is paradise then you both are crazy and maybe that girl that came in and destroyed your world did it for a good reason to stop the madness that infected all of you and if you can't think of anything but getting revenge on her I say good luck because it's clear she's got some sort of power that only the creator and someone with GM power over this game has. If she can cause a game reset, I'm sure she can get rid of each and every one of you veterans just as easily but you won't have to worry about me or Gadget. We'll stay out of your way and we'll most likely uninstall Brain Burst because we can see this 'game' isn't for us but before we do I'll make sure to tell Gadget to post his report about acceleration because unlike an 8 year old kid, a 14 year old who is known for his technological reports is going to expose Brain Burst for what it is, nothing but a program to cheat life out of people"

Gadget grunted when his arm was crushed by Frost's stomp and shattered (0/15) but that moment's stomp was enough time for Gadget's hands who had broken out of the ice dome and had taken some minor damage due to the ice (10/15) (10/15) enough time to for the left hand to grab the index finger of the right hand twisted it's joint and threw the hand towards Frost with it's hand sparking electricity all it had to do was grab her and it would be over with Gadget's victory but if she countered with a physical move then the battle would be over with Frost's victory. It all depended whether or not she could react in time.

Listening to Rose's reply, he can only sigh

She really don't know what is at stake... Well, ignorance is a bliss. However, if she doesn't know anything now, she will face problems in the future

After she finished talking, Shadow starts explaining

"Listen. Not all of us sees the Accelerated World as a fighting paradise. In this place, we meet another Duel Avatar, another people. Sooner or later, you will feel an obligation to protect this world, this community."

He paused a bit, and with a heavy voice firmly asked Rose

"Rose... Do you know what will happen when you lose all Burst Point you have? Do you know what will happen when you uninstall Brain Burst?"

Rose hummed as she looked down in thought "I've heard rumors," she admitted quietly "whether they are true or not I don't know but I did hear it from a so called veteran that I faced once." She looked up at Shadow "I heard that if you run out of burst points, the program Brain Burst uninstalls, you lose the power of acceleration and the memories you created in this world and you can never install the program again." She looked at Spear. "with that in mind I made sure that if I had a low amount of points to limit the use of acceleration but even then it was noticed by someone who I consider a close friend that I was being tainted by power." She looked out the window towards Gadget "In 24 hours of me giving him the program, he warned me to cool it on using acceleration. He pointed out that if someone got wind of the program and had proof of such a program being in existence, measures will be developed to stop acceleration and completely destroy the whole advantage we have in real life when using acceleration. He figures Brain Burst is an illegal program and should be treated as such and I understand why. If this community is built on people killing one another for power then there are two type of people in this community. The ones who do the killing and the ones who are killed and neither I nor Gadget have the dark hearts to be the ones who kill so we're going to be the one who end up being killed.

As soon I landed I heard something falling behind me, turning around I see one of those hands that was running after me. Looking at my Health and Killer Gauge I can see that my ressources are low but I could still use Ice creation one or two more times. More Surprising, those hands managed to break free of my ice dome...

-Stop following me! Stupid hand! Freeze already!

Using my ability again, I rush at the hand and form a big block of ice around it.

-Stay where you are... Damned hands. You're freaking me out.

Without giving anymore attention to the hand I just attempted to freeze, I look for the main body.

With his hand frozen. Gadget was stuck. Gadget exhaled "this is what I get for going easy on you. I should have done two jolts of conduction when I first touched you now I am unable to fight. Can we end this battle now, I see no point in continuing."
